The most advantageous feature of the dental laminates is that they achieve the desired harmony without the need for the removal of tooth enamel. Laminates, which are as thin and transparent as a leaf, provide maximum adaptation to the teeth they are attached to, giving patients a better-looking smile. Laminates with high durability can be used for a lifetime as long as they are regularly and continuously maintained. In the first session, the person’s intraoral measurements are taken and a preparation for treatment is made. The measurement made is sent to the laboratory of the dental clinic and a mock-up is created there, which allows dentist and patients to evaluate the aesthetic demands of the patient’s dentition. Upon approval of the created mock-up, the process of preparing the laminates to be inserted begins when a consensus is reached with the dentist. Then, the produced laminates are placed to the patient’s teeth in a short time.
In the first stage, temporary coatings are attached and compatibility is checked. If the dentist does not detect any problem and the patient is satisfied with the teeth, permanent real porcelains are produced. Dental laminates fixed to teeth with special adhesives can be used easily within the same day. If no problems occur, dental laminate treatment is completed at the end of approx. 2 or 3 sessions.
